Easy Pumpkin Spice Latte

Have you tried making a homemade Pumpkin Spice Latte?

It’s so easy!

CONFESSION: I can't go a day without a hot drink.

I drink tea, coffee, chicory coffee all the time.

Hot, cold, I DON’T CARE.

And during COVID-19, my home hot drink consumption has been amping up! Working from home has us looking for home coffee bars, teas, and all the goods.

I honestly need several hot drinks a day.

Hot beverages signify a break in my day. To me, this is self care.

Herbal teas, elixirs, and my tumultuous relationship with coffee, I heat, brew and blend my way through my days.

Coffee and I dance around a lot, as it can increased my anxiousness immensely, at times. Coffee can also contain mycotoxins, and mold. So while the stimulation of coffee can affect adrenal health, the mycotoxins can affect us too. We may think it’s the effects of caffeine we are feeling, but it might be mold.

So I drink alternatives!

One of my favs is Barlee Drinks. Made of chicory root, it promotes digestion, and doesn’t give me the jolt of caffeine. QUITE handy when I want an afternoon coffee, but not the jitters.

And chicory is good for your gut, because of it’t inulin content.

Making your own lattes can be easy. Just put the following ingredients into a blender or magic bullet. If your liquid is hot, place a towel over the lid of the blender and hold firm.

I learned the hard way with this. I have white walls and a white ceiling. Need I say more?
