We don’t always think about our relationship to food.

We just ask, “Why can’t I stick to a diet?” or “Why don’t I have any willpower?”

I always ask women in The Fullness Method how they rate their relationship to food on a scale of 1-10.

If they don’t understand the concept, I direct them to this podcast episode.

For those of us who have been dieting for a long time, our food relationship can be messed up. Then we hit perimenopause.

Both Perimenopause and Menopause are conflicting times, as our bodies change and transition, and health problems may arise.

We experience health issues that our licensed care providers target with weight loss as a first solution. This is how they are taught, and it is with good intention.

HOWEVER, the relationship a person has to food does not get discussed, and this plays in to:

  • how you eat.

  • how you feel about yourself and your menopausal body!

I am not a licensed physician, or psychologist, and this episode is for education and information only.
