Amanda walks us through the diversity of EFT and how it can help calm the nervous system, and look at emotional patterns and triggers.
These emotional triggers never get addressed with diets.
During a craving for a particular food, you could try tapping. You will calm your mind, and may even uncover an emotional root of a craving.
This makes it possible to release or lessen the intensity of the craving OR make a conscious decision to honor the craving (Eat Consciously) and the feeling behind it.
Amanda runs us through a short tapping sequence on the podcast and explains the 9 tapping points.
Top of the head
Karate chop
Inside eyebrow
Outside eyebrow (temple)
Under the eye
Under the nose
Under the bottom lip on the chin
Inside of the clavicle
Under armpit about 5 fingers down
